Small wish re: connection wire colors

Is there any way to prevent wires from changing colors over their length?  For instance, if I select a component and want to follow the wire to see what in connects to, the green gradually becomes gray, like all the other wires and I can't see where it goes.

The attached file will set the wire colour (both ends) for selected wires. This setting should be the default the next time you start Grasshopper.
