Very cool project and book (the vertical village)

In my theses I am working on a similar idea.

I just started with grasshopper, do you have any tips or advices. It would really mean a lot!

Ahh, that is a standard component: The Value List. You can find it under Params->Special. Double click on it to set it up.

in the 0:53 second, you pick a popup menu, this is a native GH component or a custom scripting component, cuz i'm interesting in this kind of componet to use it like a path drive in a GH definition.
