generative modeling for Rhino
The "Interval" is now called "Domain". You can find it in Maths->Domain toolbar
Maybe this tutorial video is too early, the interval tool is not existing any more, even I double click in the canvas, and then type "Interval", and the input option of Pi only is "number". I just gave a slide for domain of Range, it works either.
If you input a single number into a domain you get a domain of 0 to Number. So if Pi was plugged into the Domain Input of Range you would get 0 to Pi (or in degrees equivalent 0 to 180)
eg A Range of 0 to 180º with 7 steps would give 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 150, 180
Why use the interval tool when directly connect pi with range?
There are two basic ways to generate a list of numbers. One approach, Series, uses a Start, a Step and a length the other approach, Range, uses a Start and Finish in the form of a Domain (used to be called Interval) and Number of steps in the range.
Hey I dont understand how the range component works? How does it produce a range of numbers just by feeding it the number of intervals?
can you make the video more clear so that i can see what cell u were you using ,or would you like to upload the GH file , i think that would be more helpful for beginner in GH, thank you for this ~!
