Love the turtorial, but I have the same problem with the second loft. The loft options fix didn't work either... Any other ideas?

In response to the people getting error messages when lofting. What's happening is that the offset ellipses are NOT closed, so the resulting loft surface is an Open Brep as opposed to an Untrimmed Surface. You can get around this problem by playing with the Options in the loft command. Right click on the O of the Loft, go Loft Options and in the second pull down window choose Rebuild and set it to something like 200. You should be ok with the rest of the tutorial.

by the way, great tutorial.

i get the same problem as Ignacio. When i connect the offsetted curves to loft, i get an error, the loft button turns red, and in runtime errors it says: insufficient valid profile curves. How can i fix this?

I've been following the tutorial but happened upon a little problem: i place the offset parameter, and the offsetted curves appear, but when I use the lift on this new curves nothing happens. Am I missing something or how can I fix this?
