Karamaba and Octopus example working fine after changing the install folder to AppData/Roaming/Grasshopper/Libraries.
I am reinstalling Karamba..there is no Karamba tab in GH...and the components are un-blocked...not sure what's going on yet.
In the lower part of octopus' UI, the connected objectives are shown in rows. this can be one, five, or theoretically an unlimited number. if you choose to diversify the parameters of the found solutions, one more objective for this is added. same for the preference selection regarding parameter state, where you select one or more solutions of which the parameter state will be another goal for the search.
in each row, there are five columns of radio-buttons, representing the five coordinate-axes of the viewport, the solutions color, and size. you can assign any objective dimension in the list (one of the rows) to those display dimensions.
do you have the karamba tab visible in you grasshopper window? can you place those components manually?
Will this work with the trial version of Karamba...I am getting errors upon loading the video example file...stating that it was built with Karamba components that are not present, even though I just installed the latest version of Karamba (Millipede is installed and working fine)

This is seriously interesting work Robert - a new way of intuitively exploring solution space. Look forward to seeing how this tool develops further.
You are developing a whole new level of optimality control. It is very very cool and so useful for many purposes. Thanks for sharing.
Could you explain the colors of the different alternatives atm. the shape of a given geometry is displayed. Does the color refer to a given performance? And if so would it be possible to toggle between different performance variable within the octopus environment? Thus displaying 3 axes of performance + geometrical performance (shape) and an arbitrary performance represented by color.

oh i missed that - looks like big improvements where made. i have a premonition that this tool could be very useful for my work. still its not easy for me to fully understand how it works.
is it possible to upload these two files to the example page. the old examples seem to not work anymore.
