generative modeling for Rhino
Final video of a light animation technique I'm working on using Grasshopper to generate a single toolpath, Processing to deal with the LED coordination, Esperant.0 to control the robot and cameras and sync the LED firing, and Kangaroo to provide the simulation.
There is no post processing involved in this animation - it is just a series of long exposure photos.

Comment by Francisco Lara on February 22, 2013 at 4:16pm Hello this looks awesome! I am currently working on a proyect and i need to make an animation to visualize a starcase that lights up when you step on it and the wave of light keep traveling until it fades. So i guess i would need to link a geometry together to a atractor and make them all work in unison according to the distance of the sttractor. I think i would use vray for the lights but i dont even know where to start to make this possible. :-$
Do you think you could guide me!
Many thanks
I am kind of under a deadline please help
