nice job Elis,

i have a question . i can see you are using  windows and running a processing definition which was for mac only. how did you do that ? i would appreciate your help.

The workflow of this video  :
- I used the Shiffman Libray for kinect (problem only for mac): http://www.shiffman.net/2010/11/14/kinect-and-processing/
- Send the data from processing through udp using this libray: http://ubaa.net/shared/processing/udp/
- Received data via Grasshopper gHowl: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/ghowl

Hi luis,

yes i did use the ghowl plugin in the same lines as the demo that u gave us but it some how is not reading the port of another machine.

The processing code is able to give me the co-ordinates of all the points but when i try importing it with the IP port on ghowl it somehow does not read the port.

I had a small doubt. the processing code was done on a mac and i was trying to recieve it on my windows.so does a different OS cause any issues?

hi elisa .. we are also working on a similar project wherein we extract the parameters of an object from kinect and transfer it to grasshopper. so it'd be nice if u could tell us the process. we are able to get the scan from kinect and trying to connect it to grasshopper using UDP but having some issues on that part.
