generative modeling for Rhino
Experimenting with the new isosurface component from the Millipede add-on for grasshopper3d [ http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/millipede] . The isosurface configuration emerges from the flocking boids of a C# written routine implemented in a GH component.

Comment by Marios Tsiliakos on May 2, 2012 at 12:39pm Hi RWNB,
This C# component implements the flocking boids algorithm from a processing sketch I have written [ https://vimeo.com/14146234] in its simplest configuration where the flock only interacts with its own members. I haven't tried to code the adaptation stimuli into this component but I will do definitely sometime in the future... An integration target destinations such as splines, points or even flowing along surfaces is possible...

M.
Comment by RWNB on May 2, 2012 at 10:47am hi marios,
is it possible for you/your script to vary the program of the flocking boids,
then you can give them more precise simple instructions?
e.g. go up there and when you are there,
then behave ..
a good example of this is this work.

thanks in advance
