Not all users have access privileges to the Program Files folder. Also, files in here are liable to be erased by a Grasshopper install. Custom GHA files should be installed in the Roaming folder. You can reach the Roaming folder via the Grasshopper [File->Special Folder->Components Folder] menu. You can also just drag+drop the gha file onto Grasshopper and the GHA will be copied to the right place and all components will be loaded immediately (no need to restart).
