Yes, the photo sensor (photoresistor) detects how much light there is in the room. I used an arduino board and the firefly plugin for grasshopper to read the values from the sensor. The next step was to use those values for the rotation of a servo motor, which is connected to my physical model.

This looks interesting.
Can you tell me more about it?
You have some sort of photo sensor which is reacting according to amount of light?
