Albert, the new Field type is basically a way to represent forces in a unified way. I'm not really sure how far to go with this, but I do hope to at least provide good basic features for creating, measuring and previewing fields, and then hopefully people like Daniel Piker can tap into this resource.

Taz, those vectors are already available since 0.8.0064. The icon is located next to the old-skool vector display icon.
