Sure Paolo. It's basically an iterative attractor operation amongst a set of polylines. The midpoint of each polyline moves towards the closest point on the closest curve in the set. Once two curves make contact, they split about their midpoints and the process is repeated with the results causing a local binding effect. The Oc tree and points are just to visualize the decomposition of each polyline as it runs.
