"Hi, if you mean a push pull mechanism for grid density the only thing for kangaroo i know is the nervous system thing...that you already might be aware of. this method with unary forces will not work on a flat surface. The good old Jellyfish or…"

Cover Grid Attractor

Hey there, after trying to do this in Kagaroo I tried to write a much simplier version using GH only. The goal is to make a cover surface using one or multiples "legs". (example Shigeru ban's work, Metropol Parasol, etc...)What I succeed :- Move the points "Z" according to their respective distance from the attractorWhere I'm stuck :- Using several attractors, I tried the Graft option but it gave me twice more points for 2 attractors..- Creating the modified surface from the modified points…See More

"Hello Florian Thanks you so much! I understood how you did it, but I got one question, how can a manage to set my points as a limit (ie: the floor) The points are considered as vectors, and deforms the grid, I tried to play with values but of…"

"Hi Jonathan, You can use use Kangaroo for deforming meshes and simulate the behavior like in the video. I've made you a quick example...if this method works for you, you just have to do a diagrid mesh. Tell me if you need help with that. you…"
