loft curves that were offset

I'm trying to adapt a parametric tower tutorial in a design. However, I do not understand why my offset curves are refusing to loft as in the tutorial.Could someone help quickly?Thank you…Continue

"This is not a bug, but a user error due probably to an outdated tutorial. Offset now creates individual paths per curve so you have to right click on the 's' input of the loft component and select 'flatten'."
