"I don't understand why it slow down your calculation time, anyway,it's not difficult to match the number of points with the number of dispatch boolean values."

Problem with generating a Progressive Dispatch

Hello everyone,I am generating something like the picture below, where there is a progressive dispatch of points controlled by a series.Problem is the series count has to always be bigger than the points count to have a pattern long enough. Right now I am simply using a big enough count, but my def is really slow because of…See More

"Here is the file, you will need Kangaroo for Remove Duplicate Lines, not mandatory and could be replaced by Vanilla GH. Necessary is SandBox for the topology"

"Hey Laurent, Maybe you are right and the Nurbs works, but what you show is another issue... Specifically assuming you have a populate 2D of points the idea is to group these points into triangles, and make Beizer curves between the three vertices…"

"Why staying with the paper ? Nurbs curve could be as good as Bezier ! You could make nurbs curve that end at each intersection. You will have to use sandbox for line topology and remove duplicate lines also... The cross are the control points. The…"

Parametric Design and Organic Circulation Paths

Hello everybody,With this post I am trying to generate a discussion about two different design techniques, how they work, what they generate, and if a specific result achieved with one can be achieved with the other. (Ps the question is at the end)I have always wonder how architects design parks circulation paths. Apart from the obvious (access points) what else is taken into consideration before arriving to the final curve?Length, smoothness, number of extremes? Number of connections?Or is it…See More

Colored Mesh Contour Lines

Hello, I am currently working with ladybug doing some shadow analysis.I have a resulting 3d terrain mesh with different tones of gray and white, and would like to translate those tones into a contour boundary curve. That would mean the black curve drawn by hand in the picture. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Shynn.See More

ShynnSup replied to ShynnSup's discussion How to apply differt sine frecuensies to a list of straight lines?
"Hey David, thank you. Just some things, would it be possible for the curves to 1) have the start point at same y than the inflexion point? (note line in pic) 2) make the curves symmetrical (note circles in pic) Thanks again, Shynn."
