Using Divide Domain by Distance

Ok I want to divide domain a surface by distance as opposed to using u + v coordinates. I guess I can do the hard way a divide the surface based in measuring distance. I don't want to do this, how can can you divide by distance? I working on a solar facade with different culled patterns. Again I want to learn how to divide the spaces by distance.See More
