Unroll & Label

This definition divides a given surface and flattens each quad section to be unrolled to a grid on the xy plane. Once unrolled each face is then flattened and given tabs for reconstruction. Labels are provided.THIS IS CURRENTLY A BETA VERSION AND IS NOT FULLY DEVELOPED, CHECK BACK FOR A FINAL VERSION.Source Files:http://www.sean-madigan.com/2012/12/11/unroll-label/See More

"Can't really help without knowing the error message.  You may be running an older version of grasshopper. (I built this in 08.0061  with rhino 4.0 sr9)  maybe try downloading the latest build?"

Sean Madigan replied to Renata Stefanelli's discussion Flow Along Srf in Grasshopper
"There is a portion of this definition that does the "flow along surface" command. with a variable level of accuracy by dividing the curves and then mapping their uv coordinates along the new surface and recreating new curves with the newly…"

Flow Along Surface

This definition is a compilation of three major executions. The first is to create a randomly generated pattern based on input parameters. The second is to flow the generated pattern over any given input surface, a command that does not exist yet in grasshopper. The last command splits the given input surface…See More

Parametric Hyperbolic Paraboloid

This definition creates a parametric hyperbolic paraboloid surface at any given point in space. The variables allow for complete control over the maximum and minimum values for X and Y Axis. The Z axis is controlled by the given formula for a hyperbolic paraboloid. The definition allows for a variable level of accuracy to the mathematically true form. Download Here: …See More

Image Sampling and Surface Population

Download the source files here:

This definition takes any curved surface and populates it with a gradient of circles. The gradient is driven by a pixel sampling of any given image. For best effects, the surface size in inches should equal the image…
