Triangular Grid/ Form Hexagon/Pentagon+Find Neighbouring Triangles

Hi,I'm looking into a certain spatial organization scheme composed of triangular components. The idea is to create Hexagons or Pentagons based on some attractor points and spacing criteria, and then start connecting these by neighbouring triangles, maybe delete the ones that share a vertex only not just a side (see Image). I was wondering if anyone created such an algtorithim in VB, maybe something to start with... Ive got it sketched in GH but recursion is a must... Riyad …See More

Dynamic Relaxation/ Pathways

Hello People;I have been trying to use a definition that Daniel made for mesh relaxation, it worked nicely for many things I was trying to do.Except for one thing, restricting pathways. I am trying to simulate an analogue form finding method (see attached picture) that I carried out as part of my dissertation project. I would like to create a grid, offset it and allow the mesh to only relax between the cells within the grid. Any suggestions? Thanks;Riyad…See More

Hey Riyad,

I had a question about the HYBIOS project you developed at AA. When you generated your pattern which forms the base for the Kangaroo simulation, how were you able to make nice mesh surfaces (like the ones in the image below)?
