Hot Keys with Auto fill not working in new relase

Typically I use the shortcuts +1 or /2 to place operator components in the scene with the second input already loaded with the value. This does not seem to be working in the latest release. Wish: Renaming the input as the value? So -1 would name "B" to "1".See More

Millipede

Millipede is a structural analysis and optimization component for grasshopper. It allows for very fast linear elastic analysis of frame and shell elements in 3d, 2d plate elements for in plane forces, and 3d volumetric elements. All systems can be optimized using built in topology optimization methods and have their results extracted and visualized in a variety of ways.In addition millipede implements a few basic geometric features [extraction of iso surface meshes from volumetric scalar fields…See More

Didnt see C-well to get your email account and he dosen't let us call him that, i just do it anyway. More specifically i am looking at biomimicry and how i could apply that to low income housing. From that the teachers suggested that i design a community that acts like a natural ecosystem that is self sustained.

Mikey, whats up its Sean form La Tech. Im in Grad now, and im doing a thesis study on the concepts of natural ecoystems and how we can apply them to architecture. Mr. C-Well told me to email you, and ask if you had any suggestions on this study. Thanks in Advance

I don't do well as being "taught." I have to find my own passion and way through. As to the students, we'll see. Getting them passionate and interested about digital design in general is harder than you might think. But it's something to consider.

Just starting to learn GH now. It fits with my way of thinking, but I need some time to figure it out in a manner that I can communicate to students.

I'll post images as I do stuff. Just don't expect anything advanced for now, so laugh in private.

I got more advanced this year with GH in my Rhino class . . . students on the whole were reluctant, but some really got into it! I've continued with my experimentation with GH . . . it's opened up a whole new way of thinking about digital design for me.
