Great job David! The work you have done to realize this project is simply amazing. I had no idea about the incorporation of Geometry Gym, Karamba, Weaverbird, and Kangaroo! I can't wait to see a more detailed presentation of your work.

Hi Kevin,   Are you trying to loft 2 crvs, 4 crvs? If by chance you are wanting to take the curve located in {0;0;3;0;0;0} with the curve located in {0;0;3;0;1;0} then you can use the offset branch component and set it to (-2) in order to…

I like the way that is set up... very intuitive and not so harsh to the eyes like some wikis can be.

David-   I experience the same issue with the surface offset as well. Even when I flipped the referenced surface it did not correct the offset direction.   -Michael

To add to that, I find that the Brep area component is memory intensive when you have a lot of areas/centroids to calculate. It may be faster to compare the curve lengthsinstead.

Well, we wanted to keep the workshops affordable with the intent of hosting workshops more often than usual in varying parts around the state. This is really the first "public" workshop being held, so we have no expectations. Only desires!…

Didnt see C-well to get your email account and he dosen't let us call him that, i just do it anyway. More specifically i am looking at biomimicry and how i could apply that to low income housing. From that the teachers suggested that i design a community that acts like a natural ecosystem that is self sustained.

I don't do well as being "taught." I have to find my own passion and way through. As to the students, we'll see. Getting them passionate and interested about digital design in general is harder than you might think. But it's something to consider.

Just starting to learn GH now. It fits with my way of thinking, but I need some time to figure it out in a manner that I can communicate to students.

I'll post images as I do stuff. Just don't expect anything advanced for now, so laugh in private.

I got more advanced this year with GH in my Rhino class . . . students on the whole were reluctant, but some really got into it! I've continued with my experimentation with GH . . . it's opened up a whole new way of thinking about digital design for me.
