Tracking Points

Hi,I have a grasshopper model that generates a large number of points. These are then transformed and some culled to to get to the final result. I would like to name the points at the start so I can recognise each of the results. Is there an easy way to do this. Can you add "extra data" to a point? a list or tree, i believe, can only contain one data type. Do you need to create a parallel path that manipulates a list of tags? Thanks in advancedeanSee More

BBX SrfSplit Tolerance

I am trimming a number of trangular faces using an extruded closed curve using the Grasshopper BBX and SrfSplit tools. Once split the surfaces outside the extrusion are culled.Every so often a surface is not split. This is when only a small corner (say 10%) is on the cut line. It is not an error in the cull as the surface is never split.It would seem to be a tolerance issue. Do I set this in Grasshopper or Rhino and how? VB editor in 0.9.0006

Hi, How do you get VB edits to save? I add a VB component, type Print("z") into the RunScript and close using the red cross. The edit is not saved. Am I missing something or are the things that need to be installed? I noticed this error appeared to be fixed in 0.8.0066. Does it exist in 0.9.0006? Any help much appreciated.DeanSee More

"Hi Andrew, Thanks a lot for your help with this. I can open it now with v9. I don't what was wrong. There seems to be less "tree layers" in the data now so I need to remove the extra zeros from the mappers, but that's OK…"

Old grasshopper no longer runs

I have a quite extensive Grasshopper model created in 8.4. I’ve upgraded to 8.66 and it now locks up on opening with no messages. An older version, created with 8.1 is OK. I’ve tried Grasshopper 9 and the same thing. Any ideas how to get an old Grasshopper version (I should have saved it) or how to debug the problem. I’ve attached file the model if that helps.
