"I think this may require a two step process...first move your geometry by your vector*-1, then extrude it by your vector*2"

"Hallo everybody,   the ways our friend made are useful, but results always 2 geometries.   i am wundering if there are some elegantly solution to extrude a brep in both direction but as ONE geometrie?      "

"Cheers for this, just used it. Had another thought for large definitions.. Could Move resulting extrusion by negative half the original vector. (x*-0.5) That way just one extrusion moved to appear like an extrusion both directions."

"Hi Systemiq   Thank you for your help, your solution is exacltly what I was searching for. Now I will try to make different thikness families, and use it instead to a free scale. I will post the definition as I finished.   Thanks."

### HOW TO SCALE A SHAPE CURVE ON DIFFERENT ANGLES?

Hi to everyone!I have a simple definition of a profile curve that arrays along a rail curve in the same plane. Now I'd like to control the scale factor of that profile on different angles.I need profiles to be proportionnaly thinner on the vertical parts of the rail curve and thicker on horizontal ones. Does anybody have an idea on how to proceed? Many thanks Andrea …See More

"Thanks Michael, It could be a good idea for large definitions..  "

"I prefer this way, preferring to type as little expressions as possible in my definitions, that's just me tho. "

"Now it works! I set the F imput of the vector to Graft... Thank you Mario."

"Hi Mario! Thank you for the answer. I tried to make a both sides extrusion the way you show me but it doesn't seem to work correctly, Maybe there is a problem in my definition..  "
