"@alex: make the mesh fit the model more similar in size and you should get a  result as daniel did (at least I did). That worked for me, had the same issue with my first test. ------ One more question: Is there a good way to adjust the behavior…"

"Hi - sorry to be a pain. I'm still trying to get this right but not having much luck at the moment. The shrink wrap seems to wrapping inside the mesh and not forming around the outside? Is it something to do with the rest length and cut off of…"

"The Rhino command 'FillMeshHoles' will do it. However, it is also possible to alter the grasshopper definition so it doesn't require a closed mesh. (See the attached) (and this is one of the things that shrinkwrapping is sometimes…"

"Ah, sorry about that. Been playing around with it, saying the mesh is not a solid. Is there a way I can make it solid?"

"I tested your gh definition with a simple mesh I just created in Rhino, and it works fine, so I'm guessing that the problem is that your input is not a closed mesh. Try running the MeshRepair>CheckMesh command on it in Rhino"

Daniel Piker replied to Alex Woolgar's discussion Using Pressure with Kangaroo to inflate.
"The problem is the points you are applying the pressure force to - these 3 points need to be the points of each triangle in your mesh. You have just vertex 0 connected to each input. Try this instead: "

Using Pressure with Kangaroo to inflate.

Hi, I'm pretty new to Grasshopper, especially kangaroo, so I apologise if this is a pretty elementary post.I’m trying to create a model that inflates a mesh, using pressure. I’ve been playing around but I know I’m not doing it right as the mesh is not changing when changing the pressure. I want to be able to really increase the pressure so I get a big expansion, whilst keeping the anchor points at the base so the expansion inflates upwards and outwards.   Eventually I want to make a model that…See More
