So i am not sure what the EXP component is either.. 

But i assumed the height of the extrusion of each level would be from one level to the next. 

So I just took the difference in the values of the domain, and then divided them by the number of steps in the range to get the distance from one level to the next.. (Note that the reason i have a 'list item' after the 'Relative Differences' component is because it had given me an out put of 0 and the number of the actual difference, so i just had to remove the 0)

I hope this might help anyone who was stuck.

Can anyone please tell what 'exp' command is.  and post the script of metaball. please
