@bea - original panelling is not planar (panels are, but they are offseted to avoid seams..), so its not waterproof. the real elegance in original panels is revealed with use of kmeans rationalization process, which simplified over 20000 tiles to 21 types (it was mentioned some time ago in one discussion)
