generative modeling for Rhino
This image is a composite, but utilized several GH definitions to create the engraving-like linework. Each line in the drawing is actually a lofted surface, varying in width based on the brightness values of an underlying image. The pointed towers themselves were treated with one definition, and the clouds used another.

Comment by Martin Dembski on February 9, 2012 at 4:44pm Interesting are the colours which seem to appear in the size reduced image, or is this just my display?
Comment by Andrew Heumann on February 9, 2012 at 12:11pm The next step in the process is to laser engrave/CNC mill some physical blocks/plates, and run real prints from them :) Maybe once I've got that going I'll put them on the market...
Comment by taz on February 9, 2012 at 11:31am You should sell prints!
Comment by Andrew Heumann on February 9, 2012 at 8:48am view this one full size for the full effect, there are some strange artifacts from the size reduction.
