Hi,

the pictures are just screenshots of the grasshopper preview (with a custom shader assigned to). I don´t think that there is any way to bake color or material informations at the moment...

The whole system that generates these plants is pretty simple. It consists of a rhino scene with a curve (as spine) and a leaf segment - the upper part of the picture. The Grasshopper definition creates copies of the leafs along the spine curve, rotates them around a local axis and scales them two-dimensionally on a local plane. There is no big system behind it, it was just an experiment with referenced objects. But I am sure that it would be possible to create more sophisticated, botanically correct definitions for plants in Grashopper.

hi frank
great GH!!! could you tell me how you create this hierarcial deformation?
and how parameters change ? is that growing model for plants by L-SYSTEM rules??

I'm wondering how you make the model colored in Rhino by Grasshopper, but just be colored in this plug-in?
How can we bake the model in grasshopper with the color imformation?
