Hi Ed,

well I guess this definition should be already close to what you need. Probably you will have to modify the way how elements are oriented along the path, but that depends on what effect you want to achieve. Another point is the scaling of the elements. In this definition scaling is controlled via the graph in the center of the definition. The output of this graph is rahter limited. As long as you want to work with a simple scaling pattern (large > small, small > large > small, ...) this should be fine. For a higher level of complexity you may have to modify this part of the definition.

Cheers,

Frank

Thanks for replying Frank,

I'll try the definition on my Architectural project and I'll let you know...

My project is a train station and I created a hub/element, I want that element to repeat it self along a path(which is the rail path) and to scale upwards or downward along that path

Do you have any other helpful suggestions or definitions?

Cheers,

Ed

Hi Ed,

are you trying to rebuild this definition from the picture? You can just download it (see first comment). The icons are displayed in the old-fashioned way, you can switch from one style to the other in the grasshopper menu under view/draw icons.

If you don´t want to rotate the elements, just set the slider "twist in degrees" to 0.

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out what are the rotation elements on the bottom in the new version of GH. the tabs has been changed.

Another thing, I'm trying to use this definition without having the main element to rotate, Any ideas???

btw - Thanks for sharing...
