its part of a Python Code developed by Nicholas Demonchaux, Benjamin Golder and Carlos E. Sandoval.

https://github.com/localcode/finches

in this site there's all the code parts to work with this, you need knowledge of Scripting with Python to start it

the city goverment of Buenos Aires have a Digital Tech Unit, were convergence some office's

Urban Planning, Governor Office, building registration...... etc etc etc, where they do a joint venture and work together to construct a huge dataset about the city.

www.mapa.buenosaires.gov.ar

in this page there's a few shapes layers together.

and here there's a few Shapes to download

http://data.buenosaires.gov.ar

about my work its part of my Master Thesis Investigation about the possibilities of implementation of the commercialization of the airright in the city and how this affect the image of the city and the design thinking of building focus on tree main themes (Structure - Skin - Program)

Here in my Thesis Blog  you can read an abstract of my Work at the end its in BAD-ENGLISH

this is my first goal with my thesis.

the second goal its to make digital the Urban Planing Code of building for further use

Good work!

I'm curious where you found the shp file and how complete it was? Is it something you put together or is it part of a larger database?

Any thoughts on where you might take this as a next step?

to run this need Rhino 5 + GyPython installed over Grasshopper, there's a few things that doesn't work well have to fix the componnet and the definition before share it

I would also be interested in testing it with a GIS database I have.

Is the ReadShape component custom made or did you download it from somewhere?

I love the title.

It's possible testing your definition ?

I'd be interested to read shp with grasshopper.
