Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

For this you will need the Minimal Surface component, but you can also do this without it.
Basically what you do is repeat a shape in between two surfaces, it could be a "brep" or what ever shape you create, in this case the shape was created with "MinSurf" component from various "interpolate" curves, once you have the shape you want, create a "bounding box" around it (with bounding box component), after that create two surfaces in Rhino, then with "blend box" you will create sort of a big box contained by these surfaces, you can divide this "big box" by any number you want in X and Y direction, and finally repeat the base shape inside the blend box with "Box Morph", the number of times repeated is the number of divisions made in the blend box. Hope this is clear ;)

*Some things may vary, since this was created with an older version of grasshopper and minimal surface component.
