In your definition, how did you stop the metaball component from making circles at each point along the divided curves? I am getting an overlap of metaball circles where I just want the final outlines at each cross section. I am not quite sure how to use multiple curves with the metaball and get clean cross sections or "floors"

mesh from points never looks good and it's quite slow

Didn't read the title first so obviously its metaball lol, ever figure out how to make it a surface?

Im guessing you used the metaball for this, Atleast thats how i do it, I cant ever figure out how to get a smoothe surface rather than a contoured one, I sometimes try mesh from points, but it never really looks good.

yes its done with 100-200s of points along 5-6s curves ...
