Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Grasshopper was used with Maya to create final details on this aircraft. To get the surfaces into Rhino I had to convert polygons to sub-d, then sub-d to NURBS. The process is tedious but hopefully thru more research and help I can save time.

Hey djordje! Here is a link to the rendered image:

The Grasshopper NURBS geo was dense and messy. So I brought it into ZBrush to clean it up and smooth the edges of the grasshopper mesh output. My goal is to bring parametric forms to the Sci-fi game and film world. The above image is an experiment of this cross-pollination, which still needs a lot of work in terms of functionality.

Looks amazing!!
Is it possible to post a screenshot of the surfaces in some other color? It would be nice if the surfaces would be white/gray, and their isocurves could be seen.
