One thing I find interesting about the Mandelbrot set is that it is just one 2D slice of a 4D object.

I've seen a few different ways of taking flat 3D slices, but something I tried a while back using Grasshopper that I think is a bit different from what has been done before is evaluating the set on the surface of a hypersphere and stereographically projecting back to flat 3d space.
There seems to be some interesting form emerging, and I'd love to see it in more detail, but it gets pretty heavy to compute in this way when you increase the resolution...
Anyway, here's the definition - would be interested to see if anyone has any ideas about how it could be taken further.
