Comment by ilona darmon on August 22, 2012 at 4:30pm Well, I don't know crochet, but i think that I have to find a function which give the biggest radius possible of the sections so that the intersections between the solids are null, or something like this...
Comment by Alex Worden on August 22, 2012 at 2:50pm We should talk..
I've been working in crochet, rhino, grasshopper and kangaroo for a couple years now. Im looking at a very similar issue in crochet. I don't have a solution for you but maybe we could brain storm...
Also if you haven't see this research it is very cool. Its not weaving but, might spark the solution.

Comment by djordje on August 22, 2012 at 11:56am If I am not wrong, you can attach .3dm or .gh files in comments but, comments of topics. I think you can not attach files in comments under posted images (like this one).
You can use some of free uploading servers, like mediafire.com or 4shared.com to upload the files there first, and then post the links in here (in a comment box).
Comment by ilona darmon on August 22, 2012 at 11:51am i don't think so i'm new with Grasshopper! anyway, stupid question butdo u know how i can post a Gh file in the comments?
Comment by djordje on August 22, 2012 at 11:48am Not sure what you are asking for. My level of knowledge is far lower than yours.
But it does look interesting.
