Hey ben,

Are you using a mendel for this?  I have a prusa mendel, and recently tried printing some similar geometry geometry with it.  Do you use a fan over the nozzle for your prints?  It's supposed to help reduce the amount of drooping that occurs on steep overhangs.

Also, do you know of any grasshopper work done on exporting g-code for fdm printing to use in a rep rap or similar machine?  I'm very interested in exploring the potential for this.
