algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Packing of 50k circles via spatial hashing (1). Color is used to visualize the pressure acting on each circle revealing some interesting patterns.

Yeah the broad phase of the search collects the contents of all buckets which overlap the AABB of a given circle. For grid size, I'm using 4 x radius. I haven't done extensive testing on this but the sweet spot seems to be somewhere around there.

Are you creating an AABB for each sphere?

and how big are the grid cells relative to the sphere radius?
