I start up dividing a surfaces into uv points, from which I make uv curves in one direction. The distance between these curves will have a variation relating to the variation of the width of the primary surface.
Between these lines I define a new curve which are the folding curve, which moves perpendicular to keep a constant distance between the uv curves and the new curve.
The perpendicular move is defined by the theorem(a² + b² = c²). I define a width between the curves(c), and I know the distance behind the two original lines (b/2), and then I can get c,,

Its good old Pythagoras, which are doing the job, a² + b² = c², and then a lot of list manipulation to do the job.
