Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I made a compontent which analyzes the face connectivity in a mesh.

Faces marked with blue filled circles have 3 neighbors. nonfilled circles mark faces with 2 neighbors.

The component also distinguishes the degree of neighborhood of a face (one or two shared vertices)

Hmm not yet, but I'll definitely will.

Thanks Daniel

Have you had a look at Plankton ?

It is a complete custom mesh class which allows access to mesh connectivity information of faces, vertices and edges (and as the edges are stored explicitly, they keep consistent directions), and also has methods for dynamically modifying mesh connectivity.
