Bagdad_Kadhimiya_Model

This urban project was created entirely with Grasshopper and treated the old town area of Kadhimiya in Baghdad. Cultural, climatic and formal parameters affect the structure.

Comment by Rane Makdasi on May 3, 2012 at 4:44pm: In the first step, I have divided the area into fields, with polylines which are adapted to the surrounding area.
Next, I defined centers / places. After that the fields were sorted into 3 different categories. For Example the centers influences only the fields nearby. The fields south of the centers are used for shading, so they are higher.
The aim has been to achieve a heterogeneous urban structure.

You measured the density, solar irradiance or what?
