Nope, the surface tension capability of the paper components is so much less than that required to hold the whole system in equilibrium, that the benefit is pretty much nill. Had I used a higher-performing material, however - it would be a totally different story. I hadn't thought of that, could be a really cool idea!

Nice tensegrity proeject. Did the surfacing of the tension members contribute to the structural performance of the installation?
