Ecotect - Grasshopper

I am trying to do almost same type of thing. But is there a possibility that the we remain in the grasshopper for the entire procedure? 

I am able to get RGB values in grasshopper by using geco plugin. I want to extrude the mesh components by using the values coming in from ecotect (RGB). 

Do you know how I can convert rgb to hls? Or one simple type of number which can be used for extrusion?
