I understand about the chamfers(gutters).

But I did not understand you the second part: there will be air cavity anymore, as the roof will have the same shape as ribs currently have?

no, currently the roof would slope toward the columns and drain down through them.  the design is currently being reworked though to there probably would no longer be an air cavity between the roof and the ribs, but the ribs would be the roof and main structure...
