Share 'probably a very simple solution.. how to use the path mapper'

Hi, I'm trying to make interpolated curves on an upright standing surface that reacts to one or many points, in order to create waves on the surface.  I have managed to create the curves using a horizontal grid, and then I didn't get this problem.
