Share 'Help with bounding boxes at different shapes?'

Hi all, I have two 3d shapes (generated in grasshopper) that connect to corners of a triangle and square and want to tile it in the pattern below. However, in the third image, you can see that they overlap when I try to connect them. Is there a way to create a bounding "box" for these to avoid overlaps?
