Share 'divide domain + isotrim - Anomaly: Please help'

Hi there,   can anyone please explain me why, the component divide domain2 + isotrim works when i have lofted circles (lofted in z direction); whereas the same definition doesn't work when i replace circle with any polygon, say for this instance a pentagon?...I'm confused here...   thank you guys (& girls) :-D
