WeaverBird's Stellate mesh division changes the mesh orderings with the change of the curvture

Hi All,

I have modeled a dome-shaped surface in GH and am using weaverbird to triangulate it. There is a parameter in GH which moves the corner points up/down thus changes the curvature. I need the triangulation numbers to be consistent for my future processes. However, weaverbird changes the numbering order of the mesh with the change of the curvature.  Is there a way that I can fix the order by telling weaverbird for example to stick to starting from the upper left corner and move vertically to reach the lower right corner? The Rhino and GH files are attached...

I deeply appreciate your help,

Nilou

Hi Nilou

I am not sure if I completely understand what you are asking.., but I've got kind of a similar problem with this component.

When I connect planar closed curves as the mesh for triangulation to this component in order to create little pyramids, some of the normals are flipped for no apparent reason.

On the other hand if I use a normal extrusion of the curves using the exact same vector, it works perfectly fine. It doesn't make any sense.....

Can anyone please take a look at it and see If someone else had a similar problem?
