Silkworm

Silkworm is a plugin that translates Grasshopper and Rhino geometry into G-Code for 3d printing.  Silkworm allows for the complete and intuitive manipulation of the printer G-Code, enabling novel printed material properties to be specified by non-solid geometry and digital craft techniques.

New Release of Silkworm (Version 0.1.1)

Hello Silkworm users,

 

We have released a new version of Silkworm. The new release includes the following notes:
121112- Version 0.1.1
 
Updates:
  • Generator - remove absolute units as default for e-steps (to be specified in user settings .ini file).
  • Viewer - add support to visualize clearance of print-head and x-carriage (generic)
  • SIlkworm is now Rhino 4 compatible (this may change in the future)
