Is there a way to control the octopus do not generate new decision variables until it received the evaluation feedbacks?

I carried out an optimization based on energy simulation data using Octopus. As the simulation process is time consuming, sometimes the evaluation index has not been calculated and the output of the evaluation component is null as showed in Fig 1. But the octopus will generate new building form parameters even there is no evaluation index feedback. Is there a way to control the octopus do not generate new building form parameters until it received the evaluation values?

Besides, what is the means of “failed to eval” value as shown in Fig 2? Is that means the octopus generated a set of building form parameters but did not receive the evaluation index successfully?
