generative modeling for Rhino

Hi Mohamed,

I just installed mantis mathematica , and I get an error with the file path C:MantisUnfold, how i generate this file? Am I missing something to run the definition?¿

Thanks & regards

Hi Luis,

Sorry i made a mistake in the pdf primer/ UnfoldPolytope.m file has to be pasted in the Packages folder  not in an UnfoldPolytope folder

C:\ Program Files\WolframResearch\mathematica\8or7\AddOns\Packages\UnfoldPolytope.m

Hi Mohamed,

i change the file path and copy/paste the UnfoldPolytope.m file in the packages folder, now i have data from the "unfold_convex_polygons" component, but i still don´t get the unfolding geometry.
Please, take a look to the attachments files.

Regards!

no

I mean you have just to put it in the path, then leave the panel C:\ojehbfhab any name you want this will be a file to save the coordinates vertices don't make the unfoldpolytope.m the same to save on--please download it again and leave the panel C:\--------as it was

i will post a vemio link tomorrow

hope to work well

Ok, done, i must create the vertices file because the component don´t save it, and now, with the vertices file created and readed the error is produces before generate the points...

i check the list and the stringed list, and it´s look ok, but don´t generate the points for generate the lines...

anyway, when the convex polygon component generate data, this said "exact computation-False" ...

thanks

L

mathematica still can't see UnfoldPolytope.m

please try this and tell me

open mathematica frontend and write

UnfoldPolytope`

tell me what will happen

the out shouldn't be appear any thing

or it will write output $Failed if mathematica can't see the package

Really sorry-i'm still refining the tool-and i will try to make an exe installation file that will be more efficient and stable

Thanks for the quick replies Mohamed,

and that was the solution, the step i forget was all the packages must be installed from inside Mathematica software, so, i did it and mantis start to work!

Many thanks!

Oh, Enjoy

Really appreciate, feedback
