Permalink Reply by Muge Krusa on November 11, 2011 at 12:23pm I saw the examples and I have excited and I downloaded the plug-in. I downloaded mathematica (Icopied the MathWorldPackages to Program files) but i am not sure i have installed correctly. so right now all the components can not get data from their input E. it says: The type initializer for 'Wolfram.NETLink.Internal.NativeLink' threw an exception.
I am using GH 8.52, I hope it is not because of that.
I am looking forward for your response.
Thanks

you have to download and install Mathematica correctly try this link+there is a wolfram.netlink with mantis, you have to paste it with mantis plugin in the same path
firstly, try to download this trial version of mathematica 8
Permalink Reply by Muge Krusa on November 11, 2011 at 3:51pm Thanks a lot for quick reply because it is really urgent need for me. However my problems have not been solved yet unfortunately. I have downloaded the trial version and run the program. i have copied the dll file for matematica in components folder.
Now the problem is when i try to make my input E true, it is asking for exe file. when i map it, it is uninstalling and installing the program again. but then rhino crashes and it is all same again when i open rhino.
am i missing something?
I have confused a lot. Little help could be helpful
Thanks

Thanks a lot for your help and this amazing tool.

I have have some problem getting mantis to work. after stetting the boolian to true I get this error:
1. Solution exception:De type-initialisatiefunctie voor Wolfram.NETLink.Internal.NativeLink heeft een uitzondering veroorzaakt.
Is there a way to set the where matlab is installed?
Johan
Permalink Reply by Zaghloul4d on February 6, 2012 at 9:53am you have to install Mathematica7 or 8. Mantis isn't connected with matlab
you have to put Wolfram.netlink.dll with mantis.gh in Grasshopper>component folder
Permalink Reply by Zaghloul4d on July 2, 2012 at 3:08pm Hi, Wolfram.netlink.dll search for it in your mathematica folder C:\Program Files\Wolfram Research\Mathematica\8.0\SystemFiles\Links\NETLink
Sometimes you have to copy it from the Mathematica folder and paste it in with Mantis
TRY THIS AND TELL ME
In addition some mantis components needs files to get first such as Qhull package/unfold convex polygons
Permalink Reply by phillip on July 20, 2012 at 4:02am Hi,
I love this tool!
Though I noticed a vertex error on some of the polyhedrons that would result in non-planar surfaces.
So far I found this error on these geometries:
{0}
0. "Dipyramid"
1. "GyroelongatedPentagonalBirotunda"
2. {"RhombicDodecahedronStellation", 3}
Best,
Phillip
