Interested in local code

I've just discovered local code and it sounds interesting.  I'm new to grasshopper and have a question. I will be using grasshopper to design jewelry, I'm wondering of it can do what I'd like...

I'd like to to design a ring, for instance, and set grasshopper generating models in many sizes and baking and saving them as STL files.  Can this be done with local code?
